85, a resident of 9935 Cherry Creek Blvd, Raleigh, died Monday, June 12 at Duke University Medical Center. He was the son of the late Tad Waddell and Bessie Harrington Waddell. He was a retired electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Morgan Waddell; two daughters, Deidre Waddell of New York City and Wendy Waddell of Raleigh; and one sister, Lena Spellman of New York City; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 24 at 12pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Joseph Brickhouse. Burial will be in Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC.
