76, a resident of 401 Person Street, died Saturday, Nov. 21 at Duke Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late John Lee Marable and Victoria Williams Marable.

He is survived by a wife, Mary Ann Watson Marable; one daughter, Carolyn Crews of Oxford; four sons, Dennis Marable of Bowie, MD, Willie Marable, Jr. of Hookerton, David Marable of Henderson and Danny Marable of Oxford; a brother, Eddie Lee Marable of Oxford; three sisters, Mary Bishop of Lousia, VA, Olivia Clayton and Minister Sarah Miles both of Sleepy Hollow, NY; eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral home Chapel by Minister Sarah Miles. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
