89, a resident of 1588 Dove Road, Creedmoor, died Friday, July29 at Duke Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Willie L. Green and Ila Bullock Green. He was a retired farmer and a former employee of the dietary department of John Umstead Hospital

He is survived by his sister Evelyn Green; a number of nieces and nephews; a special great nephew who was his caregiver and best friend, Corey Green.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Guffie, Marshall, Preston and Lehman, and three sisters, Louise Gray, Marene Landis, and Geraldine Gooch.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, August 2 a 11am at the Green family cemetery on Dove road by Rev. Chris Green. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
