54, a resident of Durham, died Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He was the son of William Washington and Emily Harding Washington. He was the owner of Wheelz Carz 4 Sale, Inc.

He is survived by his daughter, Larekia Pettiford of Richmond, VA; three sons, Pernell Washington of Deland, FL, Zackery Washington of Charlotte, NC and Wyatt Washington of Elon, NC; his father, William Washington of St. Pauls, NC; his mother, Emily Harding Washington of Washington, DC; two brothers, Wade Anthony Washington of Washington, DC and Bryan Washington of St. Pauls, NC; and a sister, Lindria Dockett of Bryans Road, MD; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 18. 2023, at 11am at First Baptist Church. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, March 17, 2023, from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
