83, a resident of 7758 Mountain Road, Stovall, died Wednesday, May 26 at his home. He was the son of the late Henry Sneed and Nannie Royster Sneed. He was a  retired supervisor with the former Burlington Industries.

He is survived by his wife, Pearlie Harris Sneed; a daughter, Tonya Sneed of Stovall; three sons, Michael Sneed of Clayton, Ronald Sneed and William H. Sneed, Jr. both of Stovall; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, May 30 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Stovall cemetery by Rev, Cornelius L. Ogburn, A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, May 29 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. The family request that Covid-19 protocol of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more be observed. A more complete obituary will be posted soon.
