75, a resident of 2517 Brogden Road, died Tuesday, June 6 at his home. He was the son of the late James Lyon and Airlee Wilkerson Lyon. He was a retired barber.

He is survived by his wife, Nevie Bass Lyon; three sons, William H. Lyon, Jr. of Butner, Robert Lyon of Creedmoor and Brandon Lyon of Durham; a daughter, Brittney Lyon of Creedmoor; two brothers, Hazel Lyon and Charles Lyon both of Creedmoor; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 11 at 2:00 P.M. at Kinches Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Willie R. Nixon III. Burial will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the church. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, June 10 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
