69, a resident of 1636 Tower Road, died Sunday, November 25 at his home. He was the son of the late William Burwell and Eva Mae Williams Burwell. He was a retired Vocational Manager of Kittrell Job Corps.

He is survived by his wife, Dollie Bullock Burwell; a daughter, Wilatra "Mia" Burwell of Creedmoor; a sister, Edith Ann Harrison (Edgar "Mickey") of Henderson; three brothers, Eugene Burwell (Lydia)) of Townsville, Robert Burwell (Wanda) and William O. Burwell (Carolyn) both of Henderson; and two aunts, Cleo Mason of Norlina, and Dedis Daniel of Akin, South Carolina.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 29 at 12:00 P.M. by Rev. Johnnie White at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, November 28 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
