Willia Beatrice Smith's Obituary
89, a resident of 2536 Brogden Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Duke Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Roy Bridges, Sr. and Magdalene Jones Bridges, and the widow of Nathaniel Smith.
She was a retired thirty-year employee of the state of North Carolina.
She is survived by two sons, Warren Douglas Smith of Concord and Timothy Merritt Smith of Durham; a daughter, Krista Darlene Smith-Holding of Durham; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1:00 P.M. at Pine Grove Baptist Church by Minister Bernadette Cooper. Burial was in the church cemetery.
