65, a resident of 506 Charles Street, Henderson, died Saturday, March 4 at his home. He was the son of the late Walter T. Evaans and Zelma Harris Evans.

He is survived by his wife Minister Helen Cheek Evans; two daughters, Tonya Evans and Syreeta Latta both of Oxford; four sisters, Reverend Charlene Evans Morton, Sylvia Baskerville, Audrey Hamlett all of Oxford, and Brenda Grissom of Raleigh; four brothers, Rondall Evans, Ronnie Evans, James Irvin all of Oxford, and Dennis Wilson of Wake Forest; and fourteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 8 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greater Harvest Full Gospel Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, March 7 from 7:00 til 8:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. A viewing is scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 7 at 11:00 A.M.
