Wallace Ward Peace, 94, of Baird Street, Durham, transitioned on Thursday, April 3 at Beacon Place at AuthoraCare in Greensboro. He was born in Granville County to late Essie McKinley Peace and William Clarence Peace.

He is survived by one daughter, DeLois Peace-Tinnin of Durham; two sons: Bernard Peace of Greensboro and Charles Peace of Durham; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon, Friday, April 11 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing is scheduled for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Beacon Place of Greensboro, NC or a HBCU of choice in Memory of Wallace W. Peace.
