Obituary

90, a resident of 601 26th Street in Butner, died Tuesday, Mar. 1, at Duke Hospice in Durham.She was the daughter of the late George Grimm Rogers and Mamie White Rogers.

She is survived by her husband, Reverend Dr. Mack Timberlake, Sr.; three daughters, Reverend Joan Watson of Brandywine, MD, Delores Timberlake of Charlotte and Gloria Jackson of Durham; three sons, Reverend Linwood Timberlake, Reverend Calvin Timberlake and Reverend Donald Timberlake all of Stem; two sisters, Zula Parker of Willingsboro, NJ and Ruth Rigsbee of Camden, NJ; one brother, Edward Allen of Henderson; twenty grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Bishop Mack Timberlake, Jr. and a daughter, Margaret Gray.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Mar. 5, at 12:00 Noon at Christian Faith Center in Creedmoor by Pastor Brenda Timberlake. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham. A viewing will be held Friday, Mar. 4, from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the church.
