82, a resident of 6128 Cornwall Road, died Friday, September 25 in Stafford, VA. She was the daughter of the late Junious Allen and Emma Hawley Dawes. She was a retired upholsterer and a member of New Hope Granville Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Edna Banks of Stafford, VA, Catherine P. Lundy and Felicia P. Carroll both of Petersburg, VA; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, October 1 at 1:00 P.M. by Rev. James Isaac III at Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services.
