87, a resident of 102 Dry Creek Lane, died Wednesday, Dec. 22 at Brantwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late George Watkins Allen and Bertha Hicks Allen. She was a retired office manager.

She is survived by two sons, Edwin Andre Petrus and Hans Anthony Petrus both of Raleigh; one daughter, Sandra Petrus Campbell of Bronx, NY; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022 at 11am at Wright Funeral Home chapel by Rev. Thompson. Burial will be in the Hicks Family cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Mon. Jan. 3 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. Services are limited to fifty attendees selected by the family. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed at all services.
