61, a resident of 208 Rectory Street, died Sunday, January 21 at Brantwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of Mary Owens Lindsey and the late Deacon Joseph Lindsey, Sr.

She is survived by her mother and one daughter, Liindsey Yancey of the home; three god-sons, Frank Thomas of Virginia Beach, VA, Damon Jones and Tevon Jones both of Oxford; a brother and sister, Joseph Lindsey, Jr. and Dorothy Lindsey Terry McKnight both of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday,January 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Terry Taylor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Yancey had requested no viewing.
