Vernon Jackson's Obituary
85, a resident of 7652 Sam Hall Road, died Saturday, June 3 at his home. He was the son of the late Issac Jackson and Laura Tyler Jackson of Emporia, VA.
He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia A. Thornton of the home; two brothers, Issac Jackson, Jr. of Hackensack, NJ and Norman Edwards of Emporia, VA; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 10 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Terry Taylor. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Friday June 9 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
