Velma Hawley Mitchell's Obituary
67, a resident of 2631 Pine Village Road in Raleigh, died Saturday, August 4 at Transitions LifeCare. She was the daughter of the late James "Eddie" Hawley and Betty Bell Allen Hawley.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Mitchell; two daughters, Renee' Mitchell and Tiffany Mitchell both of Raleigh; five grandchildren, D'Anthony, Javion, Kaliyah, Taniyah and Demari all of Raleigh; five sisters, Betty H. Kittrell of Raleigh, Ernestine H. Wilkerson of Hampton, VA, Shelia H. Burwell of Creedmoor, Leslie Daye and Patricia H. Webb both of Oxford; two brothers, Willie Hawley and Roger Hawley both of Oxford.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, August 12 at 3:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel.
