49, a resident of 5591 Farmington Drive, transitioned Sunday, Nov. 3 from injuries received in an automobile accident.

She was the daughter of Cordelia Tuck Evans and the late Walter Evans. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Other survivors include her life's companion Scottie Edmonds; four daughters, Tonisha Chavis, Makia Haskins, Tamia Haskins and Sakiyah Edmonds all of Oxford; stepsiblings, Jada Edmonds of Chapel Hill, Skye Edmonds, Natavia Evans, and Scottie Edmonds, Jr., all of Oxford; a sister, Syreeta Latta of Oxford; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2:30pm at Cornerstone Christian Church by Rev. Reginald Harris and Rev. Charlene Morton. Burial will be in Greater Harvest Full Gospel Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9 from 6pm-8pm at Wright Funeral Home.
