47, a resident of 309 Foxborough Lane, Henderson, died Friday, Dec. 1 at his home. He was the son of the late  Charles Burwell, Sr. and Mishew Perry Burwell. He was a United States Army veteran.

He is survived by a daughter, Deja Burwell of Winston-Salem; a son Tony Burwell, Jr. of Henderson; four sisters, Patricia of Raleigh, Annette of Oxford,  Shirley Barnes and Jacqueline Rice both of Henderson; four brothers, Ricky Burwell of New Mexico, Larry Burwell, Charles Burwell and Curtis Burwell all of Henderson.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 11:00 A.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. No public viewing is scheduled.
