74, a resident of 4687 Belltown Road, died Saturday, Oct. 28 at Duke Medical Center. He was the son of the late James Oakley and Corine Anderson Oakley. He was a former supervisor at CertainTeed Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Harris Oakley; three sons, Timonthy Lee Oakley, Sharod Lee Oakley and Kevin Bradley all of Oxford; two brothers, Albert Oakley of South Carolina and John Oakley of Oxford; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 3 at 2pm at New Hope Granville Baptist Church by Rev. Johnny White and Rev. James Issaic III. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be no public viewing.. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
