77, a resident of 100 Spruce Drive died Friday, January 31 at Granville Health Systems.  He was the son of the late Willie Lee Royster, Sr. and Frances Cates.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Cates; four daughters, Casaundra Cates, Eulonda Cates and Rashida Cates all of Jersey City, NJ and Tarjah Cates-Banks of Covington, GA;  two sisters, Annette Royster, Flemington, NJ and Barbara Bell of Henderson, NC; three brothers, James L. Royster of Appomattox, VA, Terry Royster of Oxford, NC and Scott Royster of Patterson, NJ; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 5 at 12:00 noon in Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Apostle Annie Royster.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Wright Funeral Home.
