52, a resident of 103 24th Street, Lot 13, Piedmont Park in Butner, died Monday, Nov. 16 at Duke Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Herman Stubbs and Emma Lou Burnette Stubbs. He was an employee with Murdoch Development Center.

He is survived by a brother, Chester Stubbs of Butner and a sister, Shirley S. Gilchrist of Spring Lake.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2:00 P.M. at Pine Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Larry McElroy. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church. The family will receive visitors at the home of his niece, Katina Stubbs, 503 West C Street, Apt. 2E in Butner.
