Theodore Williams, 75, a resident of 4168 Shock Overton Road, transitioned Tuesday, June 24 at Duke Hospice. He was the son of the late Booker T. Williams and Esther Mae Daye Williams. He was a retired machinist.

He attended Granville County Schools before pursuing studies at ECPI Technical College. He later became a skilled tool and die machinist eventually started his own small business. Known for his calm and gentle spirit, He was a steady and loving presence in the lives of those who knew him. He offered quiet strength and unwavering support to his family and friends

Theodore leaves to treasure his memory five sisters: Gloria Williams of Warrenton, North Carolina, Barbara Green of Oxford, Justine Williams (Wayne Harden) of Butner, North Carolina, Diane Williams and Pauline Winston both of Durham, North Carolina; four brothers, Booker T. Williams, Jr. of Warrenton, North Carolina, Antoine Williams (Carolyn) and Samuel Williams both of Durham, North Carolina, and Kenneth Williams of Asheville, North Carolina; and his long-time partner Linda Floyd of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and other loving relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Theodore was predeceased by a sister, Bernice Ellison; three brothers, David Williams, Jeffery Williams and Benjamin Wiliams; and three brothers-in--law, Elliott Winston, James Green and Ollie Ellison.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 1 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Kevin Harden. Burial was in Union Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church cemetery. The family  received visitors one hour prior to services at the church.

His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
