72, a resident of 523 Hillsboro Street, died Tuesday, March 10 at Veterans Hospital in Durham. He was the son of the late Tazewell Baskerville and Rebecca Cleo Thorpe Baskerville. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an accomplished drummer and throughout his career he played with both local and professional groups. He had many students to train under him.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Harris Baskerville; a son, Taze Burkly Baskerville (Kameron) of Bonaire, GA; a granddaughter and grandson, Peyton H. Baskerville and Princeton J. King both of Bonaire, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 14 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Waverly Mills and Rev. Catherine Cooper Mills. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, March 13 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.
