21, a resident of Henderson, died Monday, September 9. He was the son of Monique Elkerson and Troy Carroll.

Other survivors include his daughter, Ivey Carroll of the home; two sisters, Courtney Thorpe of Henderson and Tyneisha Chavis of Durham; two brothers, Troy Von Carroll and Tysean McCoy both of the home; two step-sisters, Tyneisha Chavis and Javeesha Cameron; paternal grandparents, Carolyn Carroll of Raleigh, and Leon Latta of Durham; a maternal grandmother, Minister Martha Jane Elkerson of Oxford; his Godmother, Tanika Simeus. He was raised by a grandmother who predeceased him, Christine Semeus.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 15 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, September 14 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
