40, a resident of 210 East C Street, Butner, died Wednesday, May 18 at her home. She was the daughter of Annie Cooper Rose and the late Lonnie H. Rose, Jr.

She was a 1994 graduate of J. F. Webb High School. She earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science and Health from DeVry University.

she is survived by a son, Julian "Ju-Ju" Hobgood of the home; her mother, Annie Cooper Rose of Oxford; and a brother, Christopher J. Rose of Oxford.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, May 25 at 1:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Chapel by Rev. Aldolphus Smith, Rev. Lacy Joyner and Rev. William Black.
