91, a resident of 8118 NC Highway 96 N, died Sunday, Nov. 29 at Heritage Meadows Home for the Aged and Disabled.

She was the daughter of the late Graham Throckmorton and Pearl Harris Throckmorton. She was a graduate of the former Joe Toler High School and she did further studies at A & T College in Greensboro.

She is survived by five sisters: Melcina Yancey of Durham, Catherleen Washington of Maryland, Elnora Throckmorton, Essie C. Throckmorton and Zora Throckmorton all of the home; seven nieces, Susie, Mary, Gwen, Lillie, Gloratta, Melcina and Sheryl; five nephews, Willie, Wallard, Larry, Joseph and Detroit.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 1:00 P.M. at Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church by Elder William Alston and Rev. Willie N. Yancey. A viewing will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
