Sylvia Inez Washington, 80 of 10710 Nickelby Way, transitioned on Monday, February 17, 2025 at The Toney Rest Home. She was a New York native, and worked for CTW on the set of the former Children's TV series Sesame Street. She leaves behind her daughter Denise, a host of nieces and nephews, spiritual children and caring friends.

A private ceremony to celebrate her life will be held on May 24th.
