62, a resident of 6610 Pebble Road, died Friday, Mar. 11, at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Sylvester and Eve Van Houston Sylvester of Morris County, New Jersey.

She is survived by two grandsons who were the center of her life, Ja'Quan Brandon and Jordon Brandon both of the home; a niece, Lisa A. Sylvester of Dover, New Jersey; a great niece, Nicole Sylvester also of Dover; several special and caring friends, Joanne Coleman of Oxford, North Carolina, Missy Powell of Henderson, North Carolina, Linda Carol Kirkland of Goochland, Virginia and Eileen Hill of New Jersey; two caring sisters-in-law, Patricia Harris of Forestville, Maryland and Ruby Wilkins of Oxford, North Carolina; and a vast number of other caring friends.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Mar. 19, at 12:00 Noon at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop Garland Heggie. The family is receiving visitors at the home.
