53, a resident of 511 Andover Road, Durham, died Friday, Nov. 4. He was the son of Willie Waddell and Joyce Morgan Waddell of Raleigh. He was the owner of Plumpeez Deli in Butner.

He is survived by his wife, Naila White Waddell; four children, Chancis Waddell of Los Angeles, CA, Jodi Waddell of Pennsylvania, Lyne Pitt of Atlanta, GA and Stevie Waddell of Durham; two sisters, Deidre Waddell of Queens, NY and Wendy Waddell of Raleigh; and two grandchildren.

Bishop James Daniel will conduct funeral services Sunday, Nov. 13 at 12pm at Wright Funeral Home with Masonic Rites. Viewing will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem. The family request that Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more be observed.
