56, a resident of 4519 Fairport Road, died Thursday, June 23 at his home. He was the son of Roy Ellis Hawley and Sarah Chavis Hawley. He was a self-employed landscaper.

Other survivors include his wife, Malinda Lewis Hawley; a daughter, Kimberly L. Spencer of Creedmoor; a son, Jonathan A. Hawley of the home; two sisters, Delores H. Hunt of Oxford and Diane H. Floyd of Georgetown, TX; two brothers, Colonel Lee Hawley of Oxford and Ollie Hawley Johnson of Greensboro; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 26 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Elder David Morton. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, June 25 from 11:00 A,M, until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors thirty minutes prior to services at the funeral home, and at other times at the resident of Roy and Sarah Hawley, 4071 Dooster Street.
