Sandra Joy Pettiford, 66, of Green Forest Drive, transitioned on Monday, November 3, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Granville County to the late George W. Pettiford and Rosa Jones Pettiford.

She is survived by her children: Myla Pettiford of Oxford, Tevin Pettiford of Mooresville, and Matthew Pettiford of Henderson; and two brothers, George Marshall Pettiford of Savannah, GA, and Larry Pettiford of Warrenton, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm, Saturday, November 8, at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Meadowview Memorial Park. There will be no public viewing.
