WEATHER ALERT!!!! CHANGE OF FUNERAL SERVICES & VIEWING.

84, a resident of 4036 Crestview Lane, died Wednesday, Jan. 12 at Granville Health Systems. He was the son of the late Samuel Watson, Sr. and Esther Thorpe Watson. He was a professional tile layer.

He is survived by his daughter, Vickie Watson of Butner; two sons, Alfonzo Watson and Antonio Watson both of Oxford; a brother and sister, John Watson of Maryland and Mary Ann Marable of Oxford.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 1pm at Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing that was scheduled for Monday, Jan. 17 from 2pm-4pm at Wright Funeral Home has been changed to one hour prior to services at the cemetery on Tuesday. Both services will observe Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
