74, a resident of 121 Alston Ct., died Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Duke Regional Specialty Select Hospital.

He was the son of the late William and Annie Lee Cross. He was a retired thirty year employee of the City of Oxford.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Bagley Cross; three children, Cecil Cross of Georgia, Bessie Marrow of Charlotte and Owen Cross of Oxford; three step-children, Pamela Williams of Fredrickburg, VA, Anthony Rose and Colonel Rose, Jr. both of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 14, at 2:00 P.M. at Huntsville Baptist Church by Rev. Gerald Latta. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral home.
