Samuel Russell Burt's Obituary
66, a resident of 6120 Cornwall Road, died Friday, April 28 at Veterans Hospital in Durham. He was the son of
Ila Hawley Burt and the late Walter Randal Burt. He was a retired certified truck mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Bigby Burt; a daughter, Melanie Waters of Plainfield, NJ; his mother, Ila Hawley Burt of Oxford; two sisters, Nadine Burt McNeill of Richmond, VA and Edith Angie Jeffers of Oxford; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 1 at 1:00 P.M. at Huntsville Baptist Church by Rev. Gerald Latta. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, April 30 from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
