62, a resident of 7532 Sam Young Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Granville Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Buddy Hunt and Mary Ethel Hester Hunt. She was a former employee of John Umstead Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Connell Wilkerson; one daughter, Vashone Eaton of Oxford; three sons, James L. Speed and Derrick Speed both of Raleigh, and Andre' Hester of Oxford; four sisters, Martha Mosley of Oxford, Dale Lovette of Forest City, Linda Hester and Mary Miller both of Durham; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Oct. 1 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home CHapel. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 30 from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
