63, a resident of Alexandria, VA, died Sunday, October 18 in Alexandria, VA. He was the son of the Elizabeth Thornton Lassiter of New York and the late Roy David Lassiter, Sr.

He is survived by three step-daughters, Keisha Purvis and Kendra Terry both of Oxford, and Cheyanne Peeters of Virginia; three sisters, Maryann Pratt of Oxford, Yvonne Lassiter and Amy Bookman both of New York; and two brothers, Anthony Lassiter of Raleigh, and Derek Zackery of Oxford.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, October 23 at 1:00 P.M. at Meadowview Memorial Park. No public viewing is planned.
