68, a resident of 2187 Brogden Road, Creedmoor, died Friday, Sept. 16 at Peak Resources (TreyBurn) Convalescent Center in Durham. She was the daughter of the late Percie Obie Rigsbee and Mary Ruth Evans Rigsbee.

She is survived by a husband, Hazel Thomas Lyon; three sons, Thomas McKinley Lyon (Jackie) of Henderson, Frederick Lyon of Raleigh and Lamont Lyon (Staci) of Creedmoor; two sisters Helen Jean Bradley and Lethia Lyon both of Creedmoor; five grandchildren; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 22 at 1:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dr. J. Eric Morgan. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
