78, a resident of 412 Lanier St., died Monday, July 31 at Duke Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Willie Anderson and Lillie Blanche Anderson.

She is survived by her husband, Ly Curtis Thomas; two sons, Harry Donnell Chavis and Patrick Anderson Thomas both of Oxford; a daughter, Mareal Thomas of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Patricia A. Lassiter and Delores Anderson both of Durham; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 5 at 2:00 P.M. at Olive Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Johnnie White. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, August 4 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
