Robert Gilliam, 89, of 107 Franklin St, transitioned on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Granville Medical Center. He was born in Granville County to Charlie Gilliam, Sr and Willie Watkins Gilliam.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Oakley Gilliam; daughter, Barbara Burwell (Rev. Charles); four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 pm, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Big Ruin Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 16 Big Ruin Creek Ln, Henderson, NC 27537. Interment will follow in Meadowview Memorial Park. Viewing will be at the church one hour prior to service.
