74, a resident of Person County, died Thursday, June 17 at his home. He was the son of the late Ollie Daye and Catherine Smith Daye. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Linda Adams Daye; four daughters, Tammy McGhee of Durham, Angela Frazier (Eddie) of Apex, Felicia Swann of Roxboro, and Christie Bass (Cedric) of Creedmoor; a granddaughter, Kiara Frazier of Apex; three grandsons, Jordon Anderson of Durham,  Eddie Frazier, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, and Tomease Higgins of Roxboro; a sister, Shirley Jones (Curtis) of Rougemont; two brothers, Ollie Daye (Blanche) of Butner, and Minister George Daye of Gibsonville.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 23 at 2pm at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Bass Family Cemetery. All services will observe Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
