79, a resident of 210 Hicks Mill Road, died Monday, Jan. 30 at Brantwood Nursing Center. He was the son of the late Richard Lee Jones, Sr. and Estelle Gooch Jones. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Deloris Bagley Jones; two sons, Michael Bagley of Ervine,CA and Harold Bagley of Durham; a sister, Alice Johnson of Petersburg, VA; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 2:00 P.M. at Synama Grove Baptist Church. Burial, with military honors, will be in Huntsville Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 3, from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
