85, a resident of 454 Cross Street, Henderson. He was the son of the late Ed Walker Jones and Lessie Cousins Jones. He was a retired coal Miner.

He is survived by his daughter, Regina Jones of the home; two step-sons, Orlando Gibbs and Akeem Mohamid both of Henderson; two step-daughters, Barbara Ann Johnson of Silver Spring, MD and Helen Dunn of Henderson; a sister and brother, Ruby Brandon of Oxford and Moses Jones of Charlotte; twenty grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; and a vasy number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service (limited to fifty people with social distancing) will be conducted Friday, May 8 at 1:00 P.M. at Meadowview Memorial Park.
