62, a resident of 3645 Wellington Drive, Franklinton, died Tuesday, December 29 at his home. He was the son of Blanch Anderson Taylor and the late Joe Ellis Taylor. He was a retired thirty year employee of John Umstead Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Green Jackson; two sons, Reginald Jackson (Shauna) and Ryan Jackson both of Franklinton, NC; seven grandchildren, Akira, Caraisiah, Reggie Jr., JaCarla, Carlos Jr., Rico and Kyrie; his mother, Blanche Anderson Taylor of Oxford; four brothers, Gerney Anderson (Arnethia), Meryline Anderson, Rayford Anderson and Kenneth Taytlor all of Oxford, NC; three aunts, Emma Gray, Annie Marie, and Etta Reed; an uncle, Edward Clark (Elaine); mother-in-law, Catherine Ragland; sister-in-law, Pam Poole; brother-in-law, Timothy Parker; a vast number of devoted nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, January 2 at 1:00 P.M. at Union Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church by Rev. Allen Moore. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, January 1 from 4-6 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. All services will observe Covid-19 guidelines of face coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
