Randolph Jones, Sr, 88, of 407 Owens Street, Stovall, transitioned on February 27, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Granville County to the late Charlie and Betty Royster Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Taylor Jones; seven children: Gwendolyn Avant of Oxford, Valerie A. Jones-Cohen (Joseph) of Apex, Kenneth Jones (Louise) of Bullock, Vincent D. Jones (Althea) of Bullock, Cynthia D. Terry of Oxford, Randolph Jones, Jr. (Lashaun) of Oxford and Leslie J. Hargrove (Rev. Steven) of Henderson; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Davis Chapel Baptist Church, 8587 Grassy Creek Road, Oxford, NC 27565. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing is scheduled for 5 to 7 pm Wednesday at Wright Funeral Home.
