69, a resident of 306 Peace Street, transitioned  Tuesday, Feb. 13 at her home. She was the daughter of Mary Ruth Ragland Norwood and the late Jimmy Norwood.

She is survived by her son, Derrick Franklin Harris of Henderson; five siblings, Theresa Sullivan of Mt. Vernon, NY, Jimmy Norwood of Butner, Mary Moyer, Bernice Lunsford and Alfonza Norwood all of Oxford; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 17 at 4pm at Amazing Grace Ministries by Bishop Larry Dunkins. Burial will be in the church cemetery.. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 16 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home. Facial coverings are required for all services.
