79,  died Monday, Nov. 13 at his home in Charlotte. He was the son of the late Phil Lee Morton, Sr. and Quetta Holloway Morton. He was a licensed and ordained minister.

He is survived by his wife, Rev. Barbara Lyon Morton; two daughters, Temekia Morton and Christal Reynolds; three sons, Clifton Morton, Kevin Morton and Travis "Juvon" Hester; seven siblings, Marva Clementine Cooley and Curtis Morton both of Creedmoor, James Morton of Wake Forest, Rev. Ronnie Morton of Oxford, Evelyn Booth, Stanley Morton and Annette Collins all of Durham; and fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Christian Faith Center by Pastor Brenda Timberlake with a viewing beginning at 12:30pm and services beginning at 1:00 p.m.  A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18 beginning at 12:00 noon and Wake from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.  FACE MASKs ARE MANDATORY!  Don't forget to bring your face mask.
