Patrick Durant Peace, 83, of 4537 Peaceful Lane, Kittrell, transitioned from this life on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He was born in Vance County to the late Benjamin and Callie Brandon Peace. He was formerly employed with John Umstead Hospital.

He is survived by his loving wife Catherine Burwell Peace; children: Adriene Peace Fuller and Sandra Daniels (Bryce) both of Creedmoor, Michelle Peace Lindsey (Brian) of Raleigh, and April Peace of Oxford; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Ilong Baptist Church by Reverend Rachel Drumgold Coleman. Interment will follow in the Pettiford Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing has been scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home.
