70, a resident of 2529 Brogden Road, died Wednesday. November 14 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Phil Morton, Sr. and Quetta Holloway Morton. She was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Otis L. Lyons; a daughter, Sherri L. Brooks of Holly Springs; two sons, Otis Lyons, Jr. of Butner, and Mario Lyons of Stem; three sisters, Annette Collins of Durham, Marva Cooley and Evelyn Booth both of Creedmoor; five brothers, Curtis Morton of Creedmoor, James Morton of Wake Forest, Rev. Ronnie Morton of Oxford, Stanley Morton of Durham, and Phil Morton, Jr. of Charlotte; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 18 at 2:00 P.M. at New Greater New Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Ronnie Morton. Burial will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, November 17 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
