62, a resident of 740 Baker Street, died Wednesday, August 23 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Moses Hobgood and Queen Elizabeth Chavis Hobgood.

She is survived by a son, Walter Hobgood of the home; two daughters, Elizabeth Hobgood of Raleigh and Theresa Royster of Wake Forest; three sisters, Sandra Pemberton, Gwendolyn Jones and Janice H. Hart all of Charlotte; and a grandson, Isreal Joyner of Wake Forest.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 2 at 2pm at Amazing Grace Ministries, 4200 Shock Overton Road. Burial will be in St. Simeon Episcopal cemetery on Satterwhite Road. A viewing is scheduled for thirty minutes prior to services at the church.
