53, a resident of 145 Hidden Creek Lane, Warrenton, died Thursday at her home. She was the daughter of Jean Wilson Overby and the late Edward "Bo Diddley" Overby.

She is survived by her husband, Alonzo Cordell; her son, Ahmad Cordell of Warrenton; her mother, Jean Wilson Overby of Oxford; one sister, Tonya Overby of Henderson; and one grandchild.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, Dec. 26 from 2pm-4pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed. Burial will be Monday, Dec. 27 at 1pm at Meadowview Memorial Park.

There will be a service that will be streamed, Saturday, January 8 at 1pm.. Connection to follow.
